Philosophy for Life - "Tamasha" Style

Browsing through the Instagram’s ‘people you would like to follow’ during the mind-numbing time that my office hours have become, I came across this one girl. Clicked to open up her profile and like most legit profiles up on Instagram, this one too was Private. ( Reminder to self: have to make my profile private ). This girl had a Blogspot link up in her description and being the curious person I am, I opened up the link. Reading through a couple of posts I could say she is good.  As I was about to go back, I came across a post on her thoughts on Tamasha. Now, you have to understand, this is what I consider my soul movie so I had to check out what she had to say. ( On a related topic here are my thoughts on it . Check that post out too ). It really delighted me knowing she had understood the movie and was all for it. The Voice

W e all have a voice inside of us; you know the one I am going to talk about. it is the one which will stop you from jumping around in the puddle of water after the rain, the one which gives you about a million reasons why doing that 'childish' thing is not a good idea,

All Hail the Underdog!

Un-der-dog (n.) Person or a group popularly expected to lose. W hat is it about this word that all of us are ready to rally behind the unfancied. Someone who has no chance is the one many ( usually the neutrals, with nothing to lose or gain ) want to win, to bask in glory even when all odds are against them and all experts have written them off. Your Dimension of Greatness

**Sitting idle on this lazy Sunday afternoon, checking out my own Facebook profile ( heights of joblessness I know ) led me to the notes section (t he little known and long forgotten area of Facebook which rarely anyone sees ). There I found that I had shared this poem about three and a half years ago. I don't generally like poems as much I love stories but today as is turns out is one of the days where I could appreciate this.  Now the poet is no Tennyson but yes this 20 year old has done a good job. Read on.**

Do we drive our future?

I t was just the start of the 20 th century. India was fighting against the British rule. In these times a boy, like any other, was born in a middle class family. His father worked in spinning mills and mother was just mother, for him and his three brothers. The family was living a life of peace, happily spending the days. But it is usually at this time, when one starts taking things for granted, that god decides to show that life is not all walk in the park.
